What is your return policy? 

CampfireTents.com encourages prompt exchange and refunds.  Please contact us at customersupport@campfiretents.com within 14 days from the invoice date in order to obtain your authorization number and return instructions.

-Authorization number is required for all returns.
-All returns must be within 21 days of receiving authorization number.
-We will not accept returns on non-defective items after 30 days.
-All returns on defective items should be returned to the manufacturer within
30 days.
-Contact your carrier for items damaged in transit.
-All returns must be prepaid.
-No COD’s accepted.

-For your protection, we recommend that you insure your UPS or Parcel Post return. Keep the Return Tracking Number from the package you are returning to ensure that the package is returned to the warehouse.  We can not be held liable for returned merchandise that does not reach the manufacturer.
-Exchanges only are subject to a $10.00 exchange fee plus shipping charges.
-Returns will be subject to a 15% restocking fee or a $3.00 minimum.

Returns must meet the following requirements:

-Enclose a brief letter for reason of return.

-Return in original package in new condition with tags ready for restock.
          
 -Copy of invoice returned with merchandise.

Any refused, returned, or not deliverable shipments returned by the shipping service, do not constitute the right to a refund or credit. If accepted back, will incur a 15% restocking fee plus original and return shipping cost.

You must make sure we have the correct name, shipping address, phone number, and e-mail address. If we cannot verify the shipping address and you do not give us valid contact information, your order will be canceled with no further attempt to contact you.

We have no control over the package while it is in transit. If the tracking report shows that the package was delivered to the address that you supplied us, you must contact the carrier's local office (UPS or US Post Office), and tell them that you did not receive the package, and file a claim with them.
 
No refunds will be issued on lost packages. 

 
How is my product being shipped? 

Your order will be shipped via UPS Ground or US Postal Ground Service. 

 
How long before I receive my shipment? 

Your order will be processed within 1-2 business days of the time your order was placed.  Please also allow transit time, which is usually 3-7 business days by UPS Ground depending on your geographical location.  US Postal Ground Service is usually 5-10 business days.


Am I able to track my shipment?

How much does the shipping cost?

Can you ship my order internationally?

Yes, all international orders are subject to a 30 day waiting period with an additional $10.00 fee to the actual freight cost.
 


Will my information be kept private? 

Your information is safe with us. We will not sell your information to any other organization. We also use 128-bit encryption key over Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to provide the highest level of security. SSL provides encryption between web browsers and web servers.

What are your payment methods? 

We offer secure credit card processing for Visa and MasterCard. We also offer payment with PayPal. Credit Card charges will show up on your statements as camfiretents.com 
 

 
How do I decide what type of tent to purchase?

Before purchasing a tent, campers should decide when and where they will use it. Summer-only camping does not require a tent built to withstand intense mountain winds. Camping in areas where it often rains calls for a tent with a watertight exterior, or rainfly, that keeps those inside it dry. A tent for warm weather camping should have plenty of vents for air circulation. A cover of netting over those vents prevents insects from entering.


What is the difference between a 3 and 4 season tent rating?

Manufacturers also provide a rating based on function. The most common ratings are three-season for tents that can be used in spring, summer, and fall, and four-season for tents that can be used throughout the year. Four-season tents usually have thicker walls for better insulation and stronger poles to withstand winter winds and accumulations of snow on the tent’s roof.



What is the purpose of a ground cloth/footprint?

A ground cloth—a piece of waterproof material placed between the tent floor and the ground—helps protect the tent from damage and keep moisture out.


What side of a ground cloth/footprint should go up?

Shiny side up.
